Experience and Projects completed:

·         Participated in integration, environmental, pre- and post-launch testing of a LEO satellite BADR-1 put into the orbit in 1990.

·         Designed and developed NSC800 based onboard data handling (OBDH) system for BADR-1. Software developed in NSC800 Assembly.

·         Developed software in BASIC for BADR-1 ground control station.

·         Designed and developed 8086 based OBDH for BADR-2 satellite. (8086 Assembly).

·         Developed software in C to construct images using BADR-2 data.

·         Designed and developed memory boards for NSC800 using paging techniques.

·         Designed and developed 6800 and 8085 based data acquisition systems. Software developed in Assembly.

·         Performed study and research on image processing and watermarking of digital images for copyright protection using wavelets. (Matlab and Wavelet).

·         Carried out study and research on prediction using neural network and fault diagnosis using linear regression and neural network. (C and Matlab).

·         Developed programs for image construction, median filtering, and computed water-covered areas in Sapporo city using satellite data. (C and Matlab).

·         Developed programs for (7,4) and (15,11) Hamming encoder/decoder. (C).

·         Acquainted with Texas Instruments’ DSPs like TMS320C30 and TMS320C40, and their emulators/debuggers.

·         D. Eng. thesis: Novel Nonlinear Signal Processing using Wavelet Transformation and Neural Network.
